Christmas Party at the Lake

On Friday 8th, all 4o something staff from the Medical Centre and Childrens Rehab prog had our christmas party at Lake Malawi! It was an awesome day, full of about 14 hours of celebrations, swimming, travelling and laughter!

some highlights....
* we sang in the bus all the way there
* the "secret friend" present celebrations was hysterical... you have to dance around and deliver your present..much fun!
* Dancing on the balcony over the beach for hours (learning how to do local dances was greatly enjoyed by everyone else... i found it a little embarrasing...but great fun!)
* swimming and splashing around the beautiful water with people who hardly ever swim, it was awesome! and we were right near a group of women who were fully clothed out in the water carrying big basins on their head, all in a circle with a big net catching fish...singing as they worked... it was awesome!!!!!

Best christmas party ever!
